Super Last Supper with Sistah Soledad

On Saturday March 14th, the super supper sisters reunited chez Catherine and Soledad's flat to celebrate the Last Supper with Soledad before her imminent departure to Italia. It was a soft and sweet end-of-the-summer cena. Catherine cooked up a japanese inspired cold noodle salad with sesame seeds and for desert healthy sundaes were made and served with almonds, bee pollen, rose petals and honey. The mood was sultry and sweet. Simply sensational!

I finally figured out this whole blog thing and I wanted to post my very first entry! So, here goes...

Last Saturday night Sister Wild n' Crazy Billy and Sister HipHop Queen Steffi ventured out with me (Sister SOULdad) to a flashdance party in BOEDO. I think that the pictures speak for themselves...enjoy!

Farewell Dinner #2 at Sr. Telmo

This entry is a little late, but that's OK 'coz the pix are great!

In memory of our farewell dinner as various supah suppah sistahs are or will be traveling this month. Billie was on her way to New Zealand, Stefanie on her way to the Amazon, and Sole is getting ready to take off for Colombia as we speak. So rather than get all stressed out with a home-cooked meal Sole and Steffi intelligently suggested an easy pizza get-together at Sr. Telmo on July 18th. GREAT THINKING GALS!!!

Lots of talk about sex and men and size of members, as usual. Come on sisters we have to think of more original conversation material or are we THAT stereotypical? (yes, we are, I know it, but I have to throw out the challenge anyway).

The big question on everyone's mind now is WHEN and WHERE will the next supper be? Sole gets back on August 15th or so. I don't know about Stef. Let's have an email brainstorm and set a date.

Supah Suppah Sistahs Kickoff, Sunday July 6 2008

Billie Lue-Fung hosts the official kickoff party for the SSS at her lovely loft on Belgrano. In attendance: Steffi, Michelle, Soledad, Cat, Helen and the Sino-Jamaican madame herself, with the full candelight and scented oil setting. The evening began on a mellow tempo, the tinkling of wine glasses, a bustle of stovetop activity, and polite conversation among the attendees. But after some of the spicy curries and burgundy bottles things soon escalated to a raucous dance party to the tunes of a battle of the DJs and some serious sister sidesteppings. Not to mention the tips on tantric tongue tapping provided by Mantak Chia and Billie's live demonstrations. We're still waiting for the recipes, honey bunny.
